Koreatown

When the Ascension Group succeeded in establishing their independent city-state to serve as the heart of their technocratic ambitions, they offered many of their engineers and agents working in their Korean operations positions in their new facilities. These employees alongside the already existing Korean diaspora living in Japan ended up coming together in the northern reaches of the city centre, forming a community in what would eventually come to be known as Koreatown.

While not exactly a slum or even a poor district, the rapid development of high-dendity housing to meet demand has led to this district of Downtown to be notably less luxurious and upmarket compared to the rest of the city centre.

Koreatown is located immediately north of Downtown, accessible by foot via the north-eastern path leading from Kasagaki station.

Koreatown is considered a sub-district of Downtown and possesses a district board and bounty board.

  • Shrine Grounds - A small shrine ground is located in the north of Koreatown.
  • Officeside Park - Far to the west of Koreatown before entering the Old Office District, a small green with a sakura tree, a pond, and a number of tables and chairs can be found.

Shops & Services

  • Lee's Pyeonuijom - A general shop located just west of the district's southern entrance.

Koreatown is home to 20 player properties. Particularly notable properties include:

  • Shrine Building - The shrine grounds have a purchasable property at their northernmost point.
  • Gongdong Apartments - Koreatown features 2 multi-unit property blocks each containing 4 small apartments.
