Downtown is the urban centre of Cascade City, the throne of the Ascension Group's operation and the place to be for the money men and playmakers of the city.

Downtown is considered a primary district and possesses a player spawn building, district board, bounty board, and mission terminal.

• Sapaya Station - The train station serving as Downtown's stop on the southern railway.
• Kasagaki Station - The train station serving as Downtown's stop on the northern railway.

• Main Street - A bustling street just outside the Riverside Mall which houses the district's mission terminal and bounty board.
• The Pit - A large, open venue building located west of Citiplace Apartments. Any event requiring a large space from musical performances to combat sports can be hosted here.
• Cascade City Stock Exchange - The nexus of financial activity in Cascade City, where millionaires are made and corporations collapsed all with the mere press of a button.
• Pinball Paradise - An old school arcade located east of main street.

• The Sewers - A sprawling underground network beneath Downtown with a shanty town at its heart.

• Citiplace Apartments - A dynamic housing block which new characters can opt to spawn at.
• Riverside Mall - A shopping mall located on the east end of Downtown's main street which contains a number of stores.
  • Cypherbank - A faction bank.
  • Mall Ninjas - A melee weapon shop and tactical gear shop.
  • PharmaCo - A medical shop.
  • Riverside Fashion - A fashion shop.
  • LAUSON - A general shop.
• HumanPlus - A cyberware shop located on the road beneath the northwest train station.
• DownTownTunes - A music shop located just north of main street.
• Ascension Group Liaison Office - A bounty office located just west of Citiplace Apartments.

Downtown is home to 11 player properties (not including dynamic housing). Notable properties include:

• The Balmoral - Luxury Estates - A multi-unit player property block which contains 5 multi-story units.
• Kasagaki Station - The station house serving Kasagaki Station.
• Police Station - A large property located immediately beside The Balmoral which features a lobby, 2 offices, and an inner corridor which leads to 3 holding cells.
• Abandoned Building - An unassuming building to the west of Kasagaki station which hosts a very large multi-story player property.
• Tall Office - An office building immediately to the east of Citiplace Apartments which has 4 whole floors of usable space.

The following district is considered a sub-district of Downtown.

• Koreatown - Located immediately north of Downtown.
