Progression Guide
Roleplay Points
Roleplay Points (RPP) are your primary progression currency, awarded every 23 hours via the reward chest based on your Activity %. Higher Activity yields more RPP—spend them on stats, skills, reputation, and unlocks! See the RPP System page for full details.
1. How to Progress
A character can advance via:
- RPP Chests – Awarded every 23 hours when you log out and back in or type `/reward`. Higher Activity → more RPP.
- Opening later delays your next chest.
- Missions – Complete objectives to earn Reputation, money, and Experience.
- Events – Meaningful event roleplay can yield bonus rewards.
2. Energy
Energy is required to take on missions and perform activities.
- Sleeping – Every 2 hours of rest → +30 Energy.
- Food – Eat to gain Energy; can eat once every 10 minutes (timer resets on logout).
- Roleplaying – +1–3 Energy per minute of roleplay (requires recent sleep).
- Using “say” – Same as above; each minute of chat grants 1–3 Energy (sentences > several words).
3. Missions
Unlock missions once you have a background (3 RPP) or ≥ 1 Reputation. Terminals are at Cascade, Aethergarde Academy, Outskirts.
- Rank Requirements
- E Rank – 15 % Energy, 0 Reputation
- D Rank – 25 % Energy, 400 Reputation
- C Rank – 35 % Energy, 800 Reputation
- B Rank – 45 % Energy, 1700 Reputation
- A Rank – 55 % Energy, 2300 Reputation
- S Rank – 65 % Energy, PvP-only, Reputation varies by opponent strength
- Squad Bonus – Join a squad to attempt missions above your Reputation.
4. Activity
Activity % (0 – 400) drives RPP rewards. When you open your chest:
- You gain up to 100 % worth of Activity → converted to RPP.
- 100 points of Activity are then consumed (min 0 left).
- Gaining Activity
- Chatting (`say`) near others → +1–2 % per minute (cooldown shared with roleplay).
- Roleplay (few sentences) → +6–14 % per minute.
- Accepting/completing missions → +2 % each (long cooldown).
- Burying corpses at Outskirts Shrine → +% per body; chance to restore or remove Sanity.
- Prayer at Shrine Relics → Activity & Sanity gains.
- Killing faction guards → +25 % Activity.
5. Generation Points
After character death, you earn Generation Points equal to the RPP of the killed character. Spend these permanently on future characters.
- Access – Press Esc → Generations menu.
- Haunting – Click “Haunt” next to a deceased character to control their ghost at the Shrine.
- Purchases – Browse your Generation Points total and available unlocks.
