Equipment
Equipment refers to the various items the player can equip to their character such as armor, clothing, and other accessories. These items serve to both define the appearance of the player's sprite as well as to confer a number of combat advantages such as the damage resistance granted by armor or from armor traits conferred by magically empowered pieces of equipment.

Armor
Armor is the most common way for characters to increase their damage resistance in the game, however this comes with the drawback of a decrease to the character's speed stat which varies depending on the type of armor equipped. As they currently exist, armor pieces can be for 1 of 4 body slots: the head, torso, arms, or legs. Only 1 piece of armor can be equipped to each slot at a time.
Currently, there are 5 types of armor present in the game.
- Light Armor - This armor provides a modest boost to physical damage reduction with a small penalty to speed.
- Heavy Armor - This armor provides a good boost to physical damage reduction with an average penalty to speed.
- Prototype Armor - This armor provides a considerable boost to physical damage reduction with a heavy penalty to speed.
- Sentinel Armor - This armor provides a good boost to physical damage reduction and a modest boost to magical damage reduction with an average penalty to speed.
- Magehunter Armor - This armor provides a good boost to magical damage reduction with a small penalty to speed.
