Energy
Energy is a regenerating pool of points possessed by all characters which can be spent to go on missions.
Exposure to certain extreme weather events and sprinting for long periods of time will each deplete the character's energy, while eating food, sleeping in a bed, or roleplaying (while not fatigued from not sleeping) will replenish it.
Energy is displayed as a percentage value on the yellow bar beneath the purple sanity bar. By default, characters possess a pool of 100 energy points.
A character's max energy can be increased via the Athletic background trait, while its rate of expenditure can be modified by the Night Owl background trait.
