Academy District

The Academy District (formerly known as the Historic District) is a suburb of Cascade City, still part of the city proper yet much less dense and bustling than the hectic rush of Downtown. Its key feature is of course the presence of Aethergarde Academy to the north of the district, but it is also a busy and amenity-rich district in its own right.

The Academy District is located on the far west side of the map.

The Academy District is considered a primary district and possesses a player spawn building, district board, bounty board, and mission terminal.

• Akiyama Station - The train station serving as the Academy District's stop on the southern railway.
• Samishi Station - A derelict and abandoned station in the far north east of the station. It is connected to the northern railway, but trains no longer service this station. District 12 can be accessed by following the railway on foot.

• Aethergarde Academy
• Forgotten Glade
• Main Street - A popular street just below the entrance to Aethergarde's campus which possesses a number of tables and chairs, the district's mission terminal, and a number of prime player properties.
• Market Street - A street on the east side of the district which is home to a number of useful stores.

• Student Residences - Block A - A dynamic housing block which new characters can opt to spawn at.
• Get Smart - A fashion shop located on the shopping street on the east side of the district.
• Seventy-Eleven - A general shop located on the shopping street on the east side of the district.
• The Weeping Willow - A bar located immediately north of the train station exit.
• Historic Healthcare - A medical shop located on the shopping street on the east side of the district.
• Cascade Occult Interest Group - A magical weapon shop located at the southwest of the district.
• Bellini Brothers Banking - A faction bank located at the northeast of the district.
• Archaic Armaments - A melee weapon shop located at the far northeast of the district near the route to District 12.
• Aethergarde Materiel Exchange - A bounty office located immediately east of the stairs leading up to the Aethergarde Academy campus.

The Academy District is home to 18 player properties (not including dynamic housing). Particularly notable properties include:

• Student Residences - Block B - A multi-unit player property block which contains 6 very small units.
• Akiyama Station - The station house serving Akiyama Station.

• Aethergarde Academy - Located at the northwest of the district. Not yet implemented as its own district.
