====== Outskirts ======

The **Outskirts**, more formally known as the **Cascade Downs** or **Cascade Valley**, are the rural outskirts of [[Cascade City]]. The Outskirts are far from the hustle and bustle of the city, offering a much quieter and slow paced life to those who inhabit them. One can get in touch with their spiritual side or pay their respects to the dead at the [[Shrine of the Fallen]] or explore the dense forest to the west of the village, however it's not exactly uncommon that those who wander into the forest unprepared are never heard from again...

The Outskirts are located on the far eastern edge of the map, accessible via the southern railway.

The Outskirts are considered a **[[districts|primary district]]** and possess a player spawn building, [[district board]], [[bounty board]], and [[mission terminal]].

  * **Kyoyaku Station** - The train station serving as the Outskirts' stop on the southern railway.

  * **[[Shrine of the Fallen|The Shrine of the Fallen]]**
  * **Central Plaza** - The central area of the village, featuring a scenic pond with a number of benches, the district's mission terminal and bounty board, and a shopping street which overlooks it.

  * **Creekside Apartments** - A dynamic housing block which new characters can opt to spawn at.
  * **FamiliMart** - A [[general shop]] located on the shopping street in the centre of the Outskirts.
  * **Aria of the Sole Trader** - A [[music shop]] located on the shopping street in the centre of the Outskirts.
  * **Cozy Camper's Survivalist Store** - A [[tactical gear shop]] located on the shopping street in the centre of the Outskirts.
    * **Firearms Vault** - A [[ranged weapons shop]] located in the back room of Cozy Camper's Survivalist Store.
  * **Tombstone Boutique** - A [[fashion shop]] located just south of the district's central plaza.
  * **Cascade Valley Post Office** - A [[bounty office]] and [[faction bank]] located on the district's west side.
  * **The Prancing Sika** - A [[bar]] located just east of Creekside Apartments.
  * **Societe Esoterica** - A [[magical weapon shop]] located just north of the Prancing Sika.

====== Player Properties ======

The Outskirts are home to **16** player properties (not including dynamic housing). Notable properties include:

  * **EcoStay Apartments** - A multi-unit player property block which contains 6 units.
  * **Kyoyaku Station** - The station house serving Kyoyaku Station.

====== Sub-Districts ======

  * **[[Shrine of the Fallen]]** - Located in the northeast of the district.
  * **[[Onsen Village]]** - Located far to the west through the forest. Not yet implemented as its own district.
