===== Armour =====

**Armour** refers to special protective gear which characters can equip. Armour is the most common way for characters to increase their damage resistance in the game, however this comes with the drawback of a decrease to the character's speed stat which varies depending on the type of armour equipped. As they currently exist, armour pieces can be for 1 of 4 body slots: the head, torso, arms, or legs. Only 1 piece of armour can be equipped to each slot at a time.

Like other types of [[equipment]], armour pieces can posses [[equipment traits]].

====== Types of Armour =====

Currently, there are 5 types of armour present in the game.
  * **Light Armour** - This armour provides a modest boost to physical damage reduction with a small penalty to speed.
  * **Heavy Armour** - This armour provides a good boost to physical damage reduction with an average penalty to speed.
  * **Prototype Armour** - This armour provides a considerable boost to physical damage reduction with a heavy penalty to speed.
  * **Sentinel Armour** - This armour provides a good boost to physical damage reduction and a modest boost to magical damage reduction with an average penalty to speed.
  * **Magehunter Armour** - This armour provides a good boost to magical damage reduction with a small penalty to speed. This set currently lacks an arms piece.
