Armour is the most common way for characters to increase their damage resistance in the game, however this comes with the drawback of a decrease to the character's speed stat which varies depending on the type of armour equipped. As they currently exist, armour pieces can be for 1 of 4 body slots: the head, torso, arms, or legs. Only 1 piece of armour can be equipped to each slot at a time.
